Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit:
- To secure your date, we only accept a non-refundable deposit of a £100.  
- Your booking is confirmed only once we receive your deposit.
- You’ll get a booking confirmation with all event details – please check it carefully!  

2. Payments:
- Total Fee: As agreed upon.
- Balance Due: Pay the remaining fee at least 14 days before your event (Cash or by bank transfer). Late payments risk cancellation.  
- Extras: Overtime, extra gear, or travel beyond 30 miles may cost extra (we’ll agree this upfront).  

3. Cancellations:
- By You: Deposit is always non-refundable.

- By Us:
  - We’ll only cancel in emergencies (e.g., severe illness, safety issues).  
  - If we cancel, we’ll refund all payments.

 

4. Your Responsibilities
- Venue:
  - Provide a safe, dry space for our gear (with power sockets nearby).  
  - Tell us about stairs, parking issues, or early setup times.  
- Music Licences:
  - ⚠️ **PLEASE NOTE: The venue must have PRS/PPL music licences. We’ll play the music – but the venue handles the licence. Please check this with them!
- Safety: Keep our gear safe from drinks, rowdy guests, or bad weather.  

5. Our Promises
- We’ll:  
  - Arrive 1-2 hours early to set up.  
  - Play music suited to your event (and respect your "do not play" list!).  
  - Use professional, safety-checked equipment.  
  - Dress appropriately (e.g., smart/casual).

6. On the Day
- Timings: We play for the agreed hours (e.g., 7 PM – Midnight).  
- Overtime: Want us to play longer? Ask us on the night! If we agree, it’s paid in cash upfront.  

7. Damages & Problems
- Our Insurance: We have £2 million public liability insurance.  
- Damage to our gear: You’re responsible if you or your guests break it.  
- Power/venue issues: We can’t play if there’s no safe power or space. No refunds if the venue causes this.

- We have the right to turn the music off and leave in case of any verbal or physical attacks by you or your guests.

8. Force Majeure (Stuff We Can’t Control)
- No refunds if we can’t play due to floods, pandemics, wars, or venue fires – but we’ll return your other payments.  

9. Privacy 
- We only use your contact/event details to do our job. We won’t spam you or share your data.  

10. The Small Print
- Governing Law: This agreement follows UK law.  
- Changes: Any changes must be agreed in writing.  
- Fairness: These terms protect both of us!
